ZILLYBOUTIQUE: HOME SWEET HOME

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1103443353/zillyboutique

About this project

The first store of its kind in New York City. A bunny petting store with an outdoor garden. A home for all homeless animals, struggling artists and creators.
A place where people and animals can interact, play and learn together. I want to offer our employees the option to take their children to work. A place where overlooked homeless pets and projects can find a home. A store where artists and creators can exhibit their innovations for free. A company that place people and animals first, instead of just making money.
Life is tough! I have experienced enough for 3 life times and works beyond hard but sometimes no matter how hard you work, you can still not save even a penny. Everyone needs help sometimes. Currently there is a rabbit ban in NYC, where no stores are allowed to sell them. The homeless bunnies are in crisis in NYC and they need to find a home. Please help to support this project by donating, telling all your family and friends, and add the ZillyBoutique link in your soical medias!

Risks and challenges

ZillyBoutique will be the first store of its kind in New York City. It will need the approvals of the landlords, a lawyer, pet shelters & organizations, Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, and The NYC Department of Buildings.
The landlords has given approval and is giving ZillyBoutique the first 6 months rent free.
A attorney will be hired to make sure all legal guidelines are followed for NYC commercial business.
I will work with local pet shelters and organizations to find homes for each homeless pet.
I have been communicating with the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene the last few years and will finalize the required legal procedures.
Commercial contractors and engineers will be hired to renovate the store; commercial work permits will be file with The NYC Department of Buildings for approvals. A licensed contractor has given an estimate of $35,000 dollars to renovate the store within 3 months.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!!!

I hope you are all doing well. I am currently busy with a new job...my coworkers are GREAT!!! And my customers are AWESOME!!! LOL!!! Just yesterday I was kinda high on coffee and I was talking a mile a minute and all my customers at work were buying holiday chocolate, gifts and gourmet coffee. So of course I was drooling all over the chocolate, gifts and coffee and I was dying to buy some myself. BUT...I was at work and can't shop until I get off work. So my customer was like, you want me to go grab that Cranberries in Belgian Dark Chocolate for you? I was like:"PLEASE!!!" and yes I am eating this as I type this post. As the night goes along, and around 9pm, this sweet woman was of course buying more chocolate and gifts and yummy...ESPRESSO!!!

Sweet Lady...buying lots of yummy goodies where Zilly works.

Zilly: OMG!!! Where you find the espresso? Are there anymore???
Sweet Lady: I only found one, maybe there is another one.
Zilly: OMG I got to go find me one! I LOVE COFFEE!!! Especially strong ones like espresso.
Sweet Lady: Oh if you like it that much, you can have mine.
Zilly: Oh no! I can't do that to you! Once I get off work, I will go find my espresso.
Sweet Lady: No take mine!
Zilly: Oh no! I can't do that to my customer!
Sweet Lady: Please do!
Zilly: Oh no!
Sweet Lady: Go ahead...(gets a phone call on her cellphone) You are in the airport?
Zilly: (Continues ringing up customer's purchase while she talks on her cell.)
Sweet Lady: I am going to hang up because I am at the store right now. I will call you later.

Sweet Lady: Sorry, that was my youngest on the phone. He is in California and is at the airport. I am a mother of 5 sons.
Zilly: Wow! 5 sons! You amazing woman! 5 sons. (Thinking of my sister in law who has only 1 son and says she can't handle another child...finish ringing the purchase.)
Sweet Lady: Here, go take the coffee.
Zilly: Oh no, I can't do that.
Sweet Lady: Here I insist. (Pays for her purchase and took the espresso out of her bag and left it on the counter.) Happy holidays and here is a gift for you. (She runs off.)
Zilly: Oh...I am so embarrassed...lol.

Sooo YUMMMY!!!
I NEED MORE!!!
I just want to say thank you to all the sweet and nice people out there. I truly appreciate and give thanks to simple kindness from people we meet and even strangers from all over the world. While this sweet lady shows how kind some people are with a simple act of kindness like giving a gift, I also want to give thanks to my team and all the fans that support us throughout the years, your kindness are greatly appreciated. I also want to give thanks to all my friends at RS and FS that gave me words of encouragement throughout this year. Here is a Zilly picture for you all to enjoy, lol

All these Japanese snacks and gifts are from my friend who went to Japan in August and gave them to me as a thank you gift for taking care of her cat, Chibita. These snacks are AWESOME!!! The best is the Bake Creamy snack, omg so darn good!!! It literally melts on your tongue...too bad the snacks are in so little quantity...I need to have 20 of those boxes!

New York City Alaska Style

The crazy snow storms that are hitting the east coast in the US. Every homeowner in NYC is shoveling snow about 6 times per week due to the fact we got the most snow this winter in all the 30 years I have been living here. News report that we have not seen snow like this since the 1950's. NYC winters normally has about 25 inches of snow, but this year we got over 40 inches. NYC has a law that must keep our sidewalks clean and clear for public safety. If there is snow and we do not shovel it off the sidewalk, then the homeowners will get fined. If anyone slips or falls on an un-shoveled sidewalk, the homeowner can get sued. Here are some pictures of the snow that we are getting in NYC.

These pictures are taken during Snow Strom Thor on March 5, 2015. This scene with the orange snowplow trucks is an incident where the snowplow unfortunately plowed into the car right by the corner and caused a dent. These guys and the damaged car driver were there for over an hour dealing with this incident. The snow piles most of us shoveled off to the sidewalks are around 4 feet tall during this snowstorm.

I was going to upload pictures of the 100 plus feet of iceberg that formed in the Hudson River bay, but unfortunately it all melted the next day. But my FS neighbor Red Top was nice enough to sent me a link with pictures of the NYC icebergs. So please click on this link and enjoy! The pictures are amazing!!! I still can't believe NYC was colder than Alaska this year! But this also means that global warming is doing terrible things to our planet due to harmful carbon dioxide emissions caused by us. Please take a moment to read this article about carbon dioxide emissions and help to reduce CO2 emissions! I don't want another season of Alaska in NYC again, not matter how cool the iceberg looks!!!

And I just want to say hi to all my friends in FS!^^ And here is a picture of Zilly...hahhaa...Zilly's amazing winter boots from JCrew that kept my toes warm and dry in this crazy snow, rain, hail, and slushy winter:)
